Client Availability in Tagmin

It is hugely important that you keep ACT up to date with your availability as often and in as much detail as possible. 

If it’s complicated, please feel free to talk it through with an AOD to make sure we get the most useful display of info. However, if you can update it yourself, use the Client Link/App. 

TagMin does not know that you the Agent and you the Client are the same person. Therefore, it is important that you use the Agent TagMin, the one that you use on an office day, as an Agent and the Client TagMin, to update personal information relating to you as an Actor.

On the joining the agency you will be sent a TagMin Client log in. This enables you to either download an app or access a desktop version of TagMin as a client. 

How to keep up to date in TagminLink  #

When you click the link, or use the Client App, you will enter a slightly more limited version of TagMin, through which you can access your calendar. 

  1. Simply click on the Calendar Tab, go to the relevant date. 
  2. Click on the date and fill in as much information as possible. 
    • What: Give as much detail as possible here. For example, Day Job or Sister’s Wedding or Trip to Greece. 
    • Type: This is a drop-down box that allows you to specify whether you are totally unavailable, whether you’d like people to check before submitting you, whether you are on holiday etc. 
    • When: Whether you are only unavailable for 1 hour or for 2 weeks, this allows you get specific and helps your agent to submit you better. 
    • More Options: Click on this to give us even more information. Where: If you’re going to be away from home, you can fill in the specifics here. It can be very useful to know if you are out of the country or how far away within the UK you are. 
    • More info: If there is nuance to your situation, tell us about here. It may be that you could Self-Tape, but not make a meeting, that you would move the event for a job, but not for a casting. Let us know here. 
    • Repeat: If this is a regular occurrence, for example; you teach on a Wednesday morning and will be doing so for several weeks, you can put in the specifics here. 
    • Add Event: Click this button and it will add the information to your calendar, this will then be visible on our Agent TagMin and in TagMin filters. 

How to keep up to date if AOD  #

As well as the client link/app, you can also update Client Calendars from the office. 

It is vital that you go to each client’s individual calendar and never add anything from Calendar tab on the dashboard. 

  1. Go to the Client’s TagMin page by searching their name in the client search bar on the top left of the screen or by scrolling through the Client tab.   
  2. Click on the calendar icon next to their headshot. 
  3. Click on the date and fill in as much information as possible. 
    • What: Give as much detail as possible here. For example, Day Job or Sister’s  Wedding or Trip to Greece. 
    • Type: This is a drop-down box that allows you to specify whether the client totally  unavailable, whether you’d like people to check before submitting you,   whether you are on holiday etc.

How to view Client Calendar  #

Sometimes, you only need to check one Client’s availability, in this instance it can be easier to go directly to their own Calendar.

  1. Go to the Client’s TagMin page by searching their name in the client search bar on the top left of the screen or by scrolling through the Client tab.   
  2. Click on the calendar icon next to their headshot.
  3. Make sure the Calendar is set to the right viewing setting.
    • You can do this by selecting an icon that looks like an eye and it lives above the calendar, on the end of a row of red buttons marked ‘Me’, ‘Client’, ‘All’, ‘Filter’ and finally, the ‘eyeball’. If this is not set correctly, it will look like an icon of a ‘folder’ and will only show jobs and not potential jobs such as pencils and AV Checks.
