Alice Robinson, In the Footsteps of the Mitfords

Alice Robinson

In September, Alice Robinson played the role of Pamela in the return of this Immersive Theatre show, In the Footsteps of the Mitfords for Scary Little Girls

The Mitford sisters were writers, travellers and political archivists with dramatically differing views. Pamela was a countrywoman who loved animals. Although the least political of all the sisters, she was somewhat the glue linking them together. Even when some weren’t speaking to each other, they always stayed close with Pam.

Alice loves working with Scary Little Girls, an actively Feminist theatre company, who focus on women’s stories. Alice has is currently working with them on The Greenham Women Everywhere Project

Following their previous sell-out successes, In The Footsteps Of The Mitfords by Scary Little Girls returned in partnership with The Theatre Chipping Norton, bringing the experiences, opinions and relationships of the celebrated sisters to life through live performances of their letters, fiction, and memoirs.  The performances took place in the stunning setting of the gardens of their childhood home, Asthall Manor, near Burford in Oxfordshire.
